Xiaomi recently released the new REDMI Note 17 Pro mobile phone from its sub-brand REDMI in China. At a price as low as 1,599, it offers a 3-meter drop-resistant, IP69K water-resistant body, a 1.5K direct screen and a 6s Gen4 chip. It bucks the market trend and adheres to the positioning of affordable and high-performance products.
The National Bank REDMI Note 17 Pro is available in four colors: Clear Sky Blue, Nebula Purple and Black and White. It provides four storage configurations from standard 8+128 to up to 8+512, with prices starting from RMB 1,599 (approximately HK$1,850).
Adhering to the advantages of affordability and high performance, REDMI Note 17 Pro focuses on three-dimensional protection and long battery life. Its built-in 9,000mAh large battery supports 67W fast charging, and the body supports 3 meters of drop resistance and IP69K water resistance certification.
Other REDMI Note 17 Pro hardware configurations include 6s Gen 4 chip, 6.83-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED direct screen, 50MP+2MP dual mirrors on the back, Dolby Atmos dual speakers, etc.
Mobile Magazine’s short comment: Although the entry-level model 8+128 uses slower UFS 2.2 storage, considering today’s RAM/NAND prices, maintaining a mid-range price of $1,000 is very generous, and the device has a high chance of being launched in Hong Kong.
