Google’s Android Auto has been experiencing disasters recently. After updating to the latest version, various problems such as connection interruptions occur. Users who have not yet updated can wait for a while.
Some users on Reddit and Google forums reported that after updating to Android Auto versions 17.2 and 17.1, then using Android Auto will jump back to the original car screen. It will take a few minutes to return to the Android Auto screen. Operations such as maps or music will cause the connection to be interrupted. This happens every few minutes.
Currently, it is reported that this problem mainly affects users participating in the Android Auto beta program. Currently, there are no related disasters for Android Auto v17.0.
“9to5google” recommends that affected users can avoid the connection interruption problem by using Android’s uninstall update function or downgrading to a stable version from a previous version of the APK file until Google resolves it.
