Samsung’s new generation of foldable phones is expected to be unveiled this month. It is rumored that Samsung will launch three folding phones this year, including the Z Fold8 Ultra, which is positioned as the highest-end, the Z Fold8 with a new wide design, and the small folding Z Flip8. The product layout is more complete than in previous years, and it hopes to continue to maintain its leading position in the folding phone market.
S Pen is expected to return with a thinner body
The most talked about one is the return of S Pen. When Samsung launched Z Fold7 last year, it canceled S Pen support in order to create a thinner and lighter body, which caused many users to regret. However, recent news has pointed out that the S Pen is expected to rejoin the large folding series, but it will only be exclusive to the Z Fold8 Ultra. It is worth mentioning that even if the S Pen is re-supported, the new phone is still said to be slimmer than the previous generation, which means Samsung may have made a breakthrough in the body structure.
Screen crease is expected to be improved

Well-known tipster Ice Universe said that Samsung has redesigned the hinge structure of the Z Fold8 series to greatly improve the crease problem. Both Z Fold8 and Z Fold8 Ultra are expected to reach a level close to the almost invisible crease of OPPO Find N6.
In addition, Samsung seems to have also re-adjusted the folding system to make the damping feel of the phone more solid and segmented when opening and closing. However, the new design may also bring a trade-off. The phone is not as easy to stay at a specific angle as the previous Z Fold series, so Samsung’s signature “Flex Mode” experience may be affected.

Z Fold8 series clear specifications differences
Judging from the current leaked information, Samsung has made a clear distinction between the two Z Fold 8 series. Z Fold8 Ultra features complete flagship specifications, and is expected to have exclusive S Pen support, larger batteries, faster charging speeds, and a 200-megapixel main lens.
