The Chinese Weibo news account “Shenna Digital” recently revealed that Apple plans to redesign the connection method between the strap and the case of the new Apple Watch next year. The purpose of this is to free up more space inside the fuselage so that the new machine can be equipped with a larger battery and further improve battery life. In fact, Setsuna Digital has mentioned similar news many times in the past.
In fact, this is not the first time rumors that Apple Watch will use a new strap system. As early as 2023, Bloomberg reported that it originally planned to launch a major revision of the model “Apple Watch X” on the 10th anniversary of Apple Watch. One of the key points was the introduction of a new magnetic strap design. However, this revision has not yet been realized, and most recent generations of Apple Watch have only had minor upgrades in appearance and specifications.
