Apple’s supply chain, Tata Electronics in India, was shocked to hear that it was hacked by hackers and more than 630GB of confidential data was stolen, most of which were related to Apple products. Recently, a large amount of information related to the iPhone 18 Pro series has been leaked on the Internet, ranging from drop test videos, design drawings to component specifications. Although the authenticity cannot be completely confirmed yet, this is probably the most serious leak of unreleased new products in Apple’s history.
It is reported that more than 200,000 confidential files were leaked this time, covering a large number of undisclosed information such as drop test videos of the iPhone 18 Pro series, internal component lists, engineering design drawings, etc. As relevant information continues to spread wildly on the Internet, Apple is also actively asking major platforms to remove relevant content.
Apple blocks explosive videos and removes them from shelves
The first thing to leak was a video of a gray iPhone 18 Pro series undergoing a drop test. Since the time stamp of the picture shows that it is early 2026, outsiders speculate that the device in the film should still belong to an engineering test machine, and the gray color of the fuselage may just be the original metallic color of the aluminum alloy shell before it is painted.
Despite this, the video still reveals many details of the new phone, including that the overall appearance does not change much compared to the previous generation, but the camera module looks larger and the two-color design on the back of the phone is more consistent.

Not long after the video was exposed on X (formerly Twitter), it was forcibly removed, and related posts were also removed. X only stated that the content “violated platform standards.” The outside world generally believes that this wave of removals is an active blockade by Apple, which has led many people to believe that the leaked information has a certain degree of credibility.

In addition to the drop test video, more details of the iPhone 18 Pro series have also appeared on the Internet, including close-up photos of the new cherry red color that is suspected to be the final version, front design drawings showing further shrinkage of the dynamic island, and the A20 Pro chip switching to WMCM packaging technology, which is expected to improve heat dissipation performance and use a larger VC vapor chamber.
In addition, leaked documents also pointed out that the wide-angle main lens sensor of the iPhone 18 Pro series will be upgraded from the current Sony IMX-903 to the new customized Sony IMX-905. However, the authenticity of all leaked information cannot be confirmed at this stage, and it cannot be ruled out that it contains erroneous content. However, this large-scale data leak has undoubtedly caused Apple a considerable headache.
