Amazfit recently officially released the new high-end sports smartwatch Amazfit Balance Ultra. This new product is mainly designed for athletes and outdoor activity users. It uses a titanium body design, a high-brightness AMOLED screen and a long-lasting battery.
In terms of appearance design and hardware materials, the Amazfit Balance Ultra’s case is made of grade 5 titanium alloy and equipped with a sapphire crystal glass surface, thereby improving the overall durability and scratch resistance of the body. The size of the watch is 44.8 x 44.8 mm, the weight without the strap is 57 g, and it is available in black and black brown versions. The front of the fuselage is equipped with a 1.5-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 480 x 480 and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, ensuring that users can still read the information on the screen clearly even in outdoor environments with strong direct light.
Battery life and protection specifications are the focus of Amazfit Balance Ultra’s settings. The watch has a built-in 780mAh battery. According to official test data, under normal daily use, the battery life can reach up to 30 days; in heavy use scenarios, it can provide about 15 days of operation time. When the high-precision GPS tracking mode is turned on, the watch can support up to 50 hours of continuous positioning, and users can further extend their outdoor use time through the power-saving GPS mode. In terms of protective performance, this watch has a 10 ATM waterproof rating and has passed multiple tests such as shock, vibration, temperature changes and extreme climate to cope with different harsh outdoor environments.
In terms of health monitoring and exercise tracking, Amazfit Balance Ultra provides all-day heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation tracking, skin temperature measurement, stress monitoring, sleep analysis, and women’s health tracking. The system has abnormal heart rate, low blood oxygen and high pressure alarms to remind users to pay attention to their physical conditions. For professional sports needs, the watch has more than 180 built-in sports modes, is equipped with dual-frequency GPS and supports six major satellite positioning systems. Users can use offline map and route navigation functions directly on the watch. The system also incorporates HYROX training support and post-game data analysis tools to help users review and adjust training progress.
In terms of system software, Amazfit Balance Ultra runs the latest Zepp OS 6 operating system and is equipped with 64GB of built-in storage space for convenient storage of offline data. The watch supports syncing sports data to multiple third-party mainstream sports platforms, including Strava, TrainingPeaks, Komoot, adidas Running and Intervals.icu. In addition, the watch body is equipped with a built-in LED flashlight, which provides white light, red light and SOS flashing distress modes. Amazfit Balance Ultra is currently on sale in the domestic market, priced at RMB 4,299, while the recommended retail price in the global market is approximately US$600.
