In addition, Apple Notes attachments and tags, encrypted RCS messages, calendar attachments, call records, and eSIM cards can also be moved during initial settings.
What’s even more surprising is that Google and Apple have jointly developed a new cross-platform transfer API. In the future, as long as App developers enable this feature, when users change their phones, not only will the app be re-downloaded, but the internal data and progress of the App originally on the iPhone will also be directly synchronized, eliminating the need to log in or set up again.
This new experience is available to a small number of Android 17 devices (such as the Pixel series) from now on, and will gradually become popular in the next few weeks. It is expected to significantly lower the threshold for Apple fans to switch to the Android camp.
