Earlier, Apple announced a number of new software features at its WWDC26 Global Developers Conference. Among them, the one that will benefit most mass users is naturally the Siri AI artificial intelligence assistant powered by Apple Intelligence. After implementation, iPhone and other users will be able to experience various advanced applications in a more intuitive way.
The current voice method of calling Siri is more like using keywords to execute commands. After upgrading to Siri AI, users can interact with Siri more naturally by speaking or typing text in the same way as a real person.
Siri AI can also be used on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac devices that support Apple Intelligence. On iPad and Mac, it can be called up through Spotlight or the system submenu.
When Siri AI mobilizes computing power, the network part will use “private cloud computing” to ensure that personal data will not be leaked to Apple or third parties. It can be used in daily life with confidence, such as checking questions, daily chats, etc.
In the performance section, Siri AI will greatly enhance the accuracy of dictation and review past content through the “Siri” App; Siri will also add visual functions, such as capturing bill content through the lens to facilitate splitting of bills, or identifying food nutrition on the screen.
In terms of writing, Siri AI’s “writing tool” will be smarter. It can use users’ natural language to describe requests, imitate the tone of writing, generate article drafts from scratch, and provide suggestions for already written articles.
