Google is hosting the Google I/O 2026 developer conference this week, and a video introducing the Gemini Omni seems to have exposed the new Pixel 11 series in advance. Many people believe that the model appearing in the picture is likely to be the Pixel 11 Pro series.
It has been previously reported that Google will add a new LED notification light function to the Pixel 11 series this year, which may be called “Pixel Glow.” This design will be integrated around the back camera module. Even if the phone screen is placed on the table, users can quickly know the notification status through light changes.
Initially, rumors suggested that Pixel Glow only supports three colors: red, green, and blue, but subsequent revelations revealed that it may actually be equipped with up to 8 different colors of LED lighting effects, which also means that related functional applications in the future may be richer than everyone imagined.
At this year’s Google I/O keynote, Google showed a video of how Gemini Omni can change real-life scenes through natural language commands. In one scene, there was a luminous effect surrounding the camera module, which looked very similar to the rumored Pixel Glow, which caused heated discussions.
In addition to the new lighting design, another major focus of this year’s Pixel 11 series is that it is equipped with the Tensor G6 chip built using TSMC’s 2nm process for the first time. The overall performance has attracted much attention from the outside world.
