Xiaomi recently released its new flagship model Xiaomi 17 Max in China. At the same time, it also launched TWS’s new Xiaomi ear-clip headphones, which adopt the recently popular ear-clip design and are easy to wear without any pressure. They also have LHDC encoding and support Hi-Res Audio Wireless high-definition audio playback.
When this article was published, Xiaomi ear-clip headphones were already on sale in China, available in four colors: satin gold, pearl white, iris purple and basalt black, with a first-sale discount of RMB 799 (approximately HK$920).
Xiaomi ear clip-on headphones that support LHDC 5.0 and are compatible with Hi-Res Audio Wireless have a single playback time of 6 hours in LHDC mode, 9 hours in AAC mode, and up to 25 / 38 hours with the charging box.
Xiaomi ear clip earphones meet the IP57 waterproof rating. The vocal part uses 11mm units. The single-sided frame weighs only 5.5g. The ear clips have a 3.4mm clip distance and a bionic curve made of high-performance memory titanium wire. They are comfortable and durable to wear.
Short comment from Mobile Magazine: As usual, Xiaomi ear-clip headphones have a high chance of launching a Hong Kong version. Considering that the Chinese version may not support the international version of the “Xiaomi Headphones” app, Hong Kong users may have to wait to fully utilize its functions.
