The HUAWEI Nova 16 series is getting closer and closer to its official launch. According to information revealed by Weibo blogger @FixedFocus, although HUAWEI has not officially released the Nova 16 series, it is already preparing a release plan for the global market. Different from the arrangement that is expected to be unveiled with the HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max tablet in the mainland on June 1, the international release of the Nova 16 series will be delayed by about half a year, and is not expected to be officially launched in overseas markets until the end of this year at the earliest. Looking back on past release strategies, when the manufacturer launched the Nova 14 series, it was first released in the mainland in May and then launched to the global market in mid-September. This shows that HUAWEI tends to maintain a similar product release rhythm in different markets.
In addition to the difference in release time, the body structure of the international version of the Nova 16 series is also expected to be adjusted. Sources indicate that the mainland version will adopt a one-piece single-frame design, using a single piece of metal to create a body with high structural rigidity to improve the overall pressure resistance. As for the international version, it may use a double-frame sandwich design, that is, adding an independent metal middle frame between the front screen and the glass back. This design is relatively low in production cost, but can still maintain the durability and feel that modern smartphones should have.
