The information was obtained from the Xperia 1 VIII page specification sheet of Hong Kong telecommunications company csl., which may mean that the previous statements about FCC changes and OEM changes are misinformation.
For reference, in the past, Xperia 1 mobile phones were produced by Sony Technology Thailand. Until last year, the Xperia 1 VII brand abandoned this product line and instead assembled hand-made mobile phones in China.
