   I wouldn’t be surprised if the iPhone 11 could run IOS 28 with the fact that if it can run 26 and 27 is supposed to be lighter than it than IOS 28 is just a bit more than 26

   I don't think it's fair test, especially because iOS 26.0 has went through 9 developer betas + 14 official iOS 26 public software updates since its initial launch in September. if iOS 27 can perform like that right after apple announcing it, just imagine it at this point in the year in June/July 2027 compared to 26 right now

   My 13 pro max is getting warmer every time I use it … under iOS 27 as well as under 26 …

   ok so my 13's battery expanded and i had to get it replaced from apple it was running ios 26.5 and was heating alot it was at 67% battery health at the time of it expanding the avg weather temp was at 35 degrees Celsius, the phone at that time was throttling alot even on simpler tasks,

   after the battery replacement, iOS 26.5 still feels like i should go back to iOS18, following the 80-20 rule on battery conservation, iPhone doesn't heat as much performance is also good enough, updating to the public beta for iOS27 rn, hoping that the performance upgrades that they promised will make a diff in day-to-day usage

    Watching this on my iPhone 13 baseline model which I bought way back in 2022 after it's release in 2021. So far, the new update of IOS 26.5.2 is doing good pretty much, I'll be expecting the battery to drop 2-3% or even more in the next couple of days but it'll subside once the entire update kicks in.

    Which happens ever since the iPhone 6plus days.

    I'm tempted to update to the next iPhone 18-19 but I'll be waiting for the iPhone 20 instead or whatever they call it before upgrading. I'll make sure that my money's worth will be worth it afterall. That's exactly $817.35 to be exaxt for a 256gb variant when I bought it way back in March of 2022.

    Well I would say this comparison doesn’t make any sense because one is in development beta which is obviously going to be feel slightly slower and buggy compared to the finished one! So of course 26 will look much more better!

    I just updated my iPhone 13 Mini that I use as a secondary to iOS 27, and the point I believe Apple wanted to bring was the fact that the transitions got smoother without presenting that certain "choking" when opening the apps, it got smoother, but it doesn't mean that the opening itself was faster by 30% compared to iOS 26.

    Another point that I could notice is that the post-processing of the camera improved a lot, before the images took too long to process.

    What I really hope is that it improves the synchronization between devices.

    @iDeviceHelp the power strip delivers power top down so the first plug receives power before the last that’s why the iPhone on the left was slightly faster. I point this out only because you’ve used this methods a few times now.

    Thank you for testing out the iPhone 13 speed and performance test as I requested to you. I can’t believe that in iPhone 13, ios 26 is almost identically similar in terms of performance and speed with ios 27 beta. Good to see my device is old but gold👍🏼. Thanks again for testing it out.
