While the iOS gesture to mute VoiceOver’s Speech works if you have trackPad commander enabled, there is no key command for this by default. So this tutorial walks you through how to create a key command in Mac OS 15 sequoia, Mac OS 26 Tahoe and later to quickly mute VoiceOver. It covers both ow to only mute VoiceOver’s speech and how to mute VoiceOver’s speech and sounds.
