Nice cant get mine to update
Way too many problems with Apple and new products. So sick of it.
I’ve got connection problem with my airpods pro 2. It’s disconnects while listening music. It happens 3-4 times in a week.
My batteries from my AirPods Pro 3 are still draining all the way to 0% after little use.
Sent my brand new AirPods pro 3’s back because they kept connecting and disconnecting. I only had them for a month and apple told me they can only offer me a refurbished pair. Waiting on the pro’s 2 to come in instead.

You can just have them in your ear and it wii tell you the version of the fireware in the settings

Mine would show in settings without Wifi connected to the internet. I have previous model to AirPod 3. Hope this helps a lot of people.
With the new 8B40 firmware update, the ANC performance has noticeably weakened in my experience.
Apple’s active noise cancellation was one of the main reasons I chose these products in the first place, which makes this change particularly disappointing. Since the update, certain higher frequencies are much more noticeable and pass through more clearly than before, significantly reducing the overall effectiveness of the noise cancellation.
For a premium product, I expect core features like ANC to remain consistently strong or improve over time—not become weaker through software updates. This noticeable decline has had a real impact on the overall listening experience.

I actually encountered a new bug when my iPhone is near my Mac and I'm playing audio from my Mac, the audio crackles for like a second every now and then, at intervals that can range from like 10 seconds to a minute. I got this glitch to appear when opening let's say instagram on my phone while playing something and my AirPods connect to my iPhone too.

Für mich war die aktive Geräuschunterdrückung von Apple stets das entscheidende Hauptkriterium beim Kauf. Gerade deshalb ist es besonders enttäuschend, wenn sich die Leistung eines so wichtigen Features nachträglich durch Software-Updates verschlechtert.
Bei einem Premium-Produkt erwarte ich, dass zentrale Funktionen wie ANC konstant auf hohem Niveau bleiben oder sogar verbessert werden. Eine spürbare Reduzierung der Geräuschunterdrückung beeinträchtigt das Nutzungserlebnis erheblich und sorgt verständlicherweise für Frustration.

Ohhh wow, this upate to AirPro 3 is mind blowing, the whole sound stage is sooo much better and clearer, bass is unbelievable ..If you have a Tidal subscription the difference is amazing.
At 5:17 you show the volume slider in the control panel, and underneath there are three buttons. Above the slider it says "AirPods Pro 3" I have a new Airpods 3 pro and the volume slider in my iPhone is always set to the iPhone speaker. I can never have it control the AirPods. What settings do I need in order for the slider to control the Airpods?
Anybody else get irritated skin where the airpods pro 3 touch the ear? Just checking if it's only me having this issue. I only get it in my left ear with airpods pro 3, not my right ear. So it's only on the left side. No problems with my previous airpods pro 1.
Listening mode when using for phone call goes to transparency I try to select noise cancellation and doesn’t select it which is annoying whether it’s a bug or not
Got the latest update on my AirPods and case.
Just wish I could fix the cover art on all my music. When I had an iPhone 13 min the cover art got all messed up and I never could fix it. Then when I upgraded to an iPhone 17 Pro Max and transferred all the data from the older iPhone to this new one, the cover are was still messed up. Did the whole backup thing for my music from the MacBook Pro but it didn't fix anything. I have way too much music to try and fix each album and song individually, it would probably take me a few days. Please do a video on how to fix my issue.

Ever since the update, my AirPods sometimes make an electronic glitch sound and the music/podcast will stop and then start again. It’s super annoying!! 🤬😤

For me I’ve noticed a bit more loudness with this update. I normally listen to Apple Music at 57% volume. Now I have it between 53% and 55%.
Seemed to work for me (or would have happened anyway but my AirPods were down to 20% so needed to charge them anyway. Possibly a coincidence but yesterday I had my first connection issue in the end I had to reboot my phone (17 Pro)
