Sharp’s new light flagship mobile phone AQUOS R11 is launched in Taiwan. It features a three-lens system supervised by German Leica, AI smart composition zoom, and the introduction of “Akarium dynamic light law” light and shadow interaction function for the first time. It hopes to use AI and Japanese design aesthetics to bring a more intuitive and warm user experience.
AQUOS R11 includes a 50.3-megapixel main lens, a 50.3-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 38.5-megapixel 2.9x optical telephoto lens. It can easily handle daily casual shooting, portraits, or long-distance shooting. The camera also incorporates a 14-spectrum spectrum sensor that can accurately restore colors based on ambient light sources.

AI smart zoom
AQUOS R11 also adds many new AI methods to its camera functions. Among them, “AI Smart Zoom” can automatically identify the position and distance of the subject when shooting people or pets. Just click on the screen to quickly switch to the most suitable composition and zoom ratio, without having to repeatedly adjust the zoom in and out.
In addition, the phone also has built-in “AI one-click masking of important information”, which can automatically hide sensitive content such as house numbers and personal information, making sharing photos more secure. It also supports blink correction for group photos, optimal expression synthesis of multiple photos, as well as various practical functions such as document shadow removal, document keystone correction, and glass reflection suppression.
Akarium Dynamic Light Law
In addition to taking pictures, another highlight of AQUOS R11 is the new “Akarium dynamic light law”. This function is jointly supervised by Japanese sound artist Shinya Kiyokawa. It uses the light-emitting element in the center of the camera module to combine light effects and sound. It can be used as a notification for incoming calls and messages at ordinary times. At night, it can switch between the three built-in natural scene modes of “Fire”, “Gurgling” and “Mottled Light and Shadow”, turning the phone into an atmospheric and healing light source.

AQUOS R11 also adds the “Vocalist AI Noise Reduction Magic Wand” function. Users can pre-register their own voice characteristics, and then the AI will prioritize and retain their own voices during calls, while filtering out background noise and surrounding conversations. Not only can it be used for general calls, but it also supports third-party apps such as LINE and online video conferencing. It can also maintain high-quality calls at MRT stations or department stores.

AQUOS R11 will be launched in Taiwan from now on in three colors: Steel Blue, Porcelain White and Ceramic Orange, and fully supports eSIM functions. 12GB+256G is priced at 26,990 yuan, and 12GB+512GB is priced at 29,990 yuan.
