According to the latest overseas news, vivo will skip the naming of X400 and directly launch the new vivo X500 series based on traditional culture’s avoidance of numbers. Recently, three X500 series devices have been officially exposed in the IMEI database of the GSM Association, indicating that the new generation of flagship mobile phones is expected to be officially unveiled this fall or earlier.
Information from the IMEI database shows that the three models exposed this time are vivo X500, vivo X500 Pro and the new vivo X500e. Among them, X500 and X500 Pro are of course direct upgrades of X300 and X300 Pro, and the one that attracts more attention is the X500e, which appeared for the first time. Since the previous generation did not launch a derivative model of the “e” model, the market’s product positioning and specific specifications of this new phone still need to be further observed.
In terms of rumors about hardware specifications, preliminary information has leaked out on the Internet. The news indicates that the vivo X500 will be equipped with a 6.4-inch screen, focusing on a relatively moderate grip feeling; while the higher-positioned vivo X500 Pro will use a 6.9-inch large screen design.
